Cookie Policy

We know how important it is to you that we look after your Personal Information. To be trusted to do the right thing is one of our core values.

We use cookies to help our website work, to ensure that we give you the best digital experience on our website and to learn about how our website is being used. This Cookies Policy explains: what cookies are, the cookies we use, how we use them and the information we collect from them. It also explains how you can manage your preferences in relation to cookies.

For further information on how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information please see our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies and why do we use them?

When we provide services, we want to make them easy, useful and reliable. Where services are delivered on the internet, this sometimes involves placing small amounts of information on your device (eg. your computer or mobile phone). These include small files known as cookies.

These pieces of information are used to improve our services to you by:

  • Enabling a service to recognise your device so you don't have to give the same information a number of times;
  • Recognising that you may already have given a username and password so you don't need to do it for every web page requested;
  • Measuring how many people are using services, and how these services are used, so they can be made easier to use.

Pixels

Email-based Pixel Tracking
We use Mailchimp to send certain email campaigns. Emails sent from Mailchimp contain a pixel (a tiny invisible graphic). When an email is opened, with images turned on, that graphic is downloaded and it's recorded as an 'open'. We are able to identify which recipients have opened an email, how many times an email was opened and when an email was opened as a result of using this approach.

You can opt-out of email-based pixel tracking by disabling external images from loading, or loading automatically, in your email service.
