Nick Rushbrooke


Nick is a chartered Civil Engineer and ex self-employed consultant who retired in 2001 as Business Director of United Utilities. He worked for over 30 years for United Utilities and its predecessors in a variety of commercial, operational, engineering, technical and management roles including at board level. Following retirement, he was Chairman of a number of not-for-profit organisations, including the Prince’s Trust on Merseyside, a Housing Association, a LIFT Company (Renova) and St. Helens Chamber of Commerce. He was appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant for Merseyside in 2006. He is a retired Justice of the Peace and a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management. His current interests include Rotary, volunteering for the National Trust at Bodnant Gardens and Dwr Anafon, a local charity.
