Mike is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 40 years’ experience in delivering major infrastructure projects across the United Kingdom. He started work as a trainee technician with Pembrokeshire Water Unit in Haverfordwest and is now a Technical Director with one of the world’s leading professional services firms and he now specialises in the delivery of major highway projects. He is also a Lean Practitioner supporting continuous improvement and reducing waste on projects. Mike is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation. He is a registered Supervising Civil Engineer supporting and mentoring trainees towards their professional qualifications. Mike is a member of the Transport for Wales Passenger Panel providing the passengers view of the daily commute on TfW services. He is also an Events Volunteer for the National Museum of Wales getting involved in a range of activities in support of the museums as well as interacting with the visitors.
