Llio is currently undertaking a masters’ degree at Cardiff University to study linguistic planning, a subject she is passionate about. She was previously responsible for Welsh Language Strategy, Welsh Language Standards and Strategic Equality Plan compliance at Newport City Council. She has chaired and been key to the success of various partnerships in the fields of hate crime, Welsh language education, organisational development and employment. Llio has a degree in Philosophy and Politics and a Masters in Public Administration. She is a local authority governor at Ysgol Gymraeg Casnewydd in Newport, has two small children and enjoys climbing and running.
