Agnes read law at Cardiff University and completed her Law Society Finals at Guildford College of Law. After working in private practice, she moved in- house and through mergers and acquisitions has worked for Nat West Bank, Abbey National and GE Capital.  She was the General Counsel and Client Relationship Manager of GE Capital as well as the Hub Leader for GE Women's Network. She represented the finance industry at the Access to Justice Working Party on the Woolf Reforms, Legal Committee of the Council of Mortgage Lenders and Founder Chairperson of the Finance and Leasing Litigation Forum.  She assisted the former Lord Mayor, Fiona Woolf in her mayoral programme on Diversity and Social Mobility. 

Agnes is a Freeman of the City of London and a Liverymen of the City Solicitors of London, Arbitrators Livery and the Welsh Livery Company. She is a Court Assistant and Chair of the latter’s PR Committee and a member of the Awards Committee.  She is also a Council and Audit Committee Member of Cardiff University and a Vice President Member of the Cardiff Business Club.  Agnes is a Justice of the Peace and was appointed Deputy Lieutenant for Gwent in 2019 and Director of FFIN DANCE, Gwent in 2020.
